Stock Market Training Program

The Rotary Club of Dillibazar successfully organized a two-day training and interaction program on the stock market to mark Global Money Week. The event was held at Dillibazar Kanya College in Kathmandu, with enthusiastic participation from undergraduate students.
The program was chaired by Club President Prem Wali. During the opening ceremony, Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina delivered the welcome address, while the closing remarks were presented by Krishna Bhandari, CEO of Broker No. 19 (Nepal Investment Securities Pvt. Ltd.).
The training sessions were led by former SEBON spokesperson Niraj Giri and stock market analyst and journalist Arjun Timilsina. They provided in-depth insights into the fundamentals of the stock market, investment strategies, risk management, and methods for selecting suitable companies.
Additional remarks were delivered by Past President Indira Parajuli and College Principal Aparajita Aryal. The event also saw the presence of several distinguished members, including former presidents, secretaries, and other Rotarians.
Participants described the program as highly informative, practical, and inspiring. Many noted that although they had previously heard about the stock market, this was their first opportunity to understand it clearly.
Organizers emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting financial literacy, encouraging savings habits, and empowering youth to become financially independent.
