Free Water Distribution and Furniture Handover Program

The Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Kathmandu reaffirmed its commitment to community service by organizing a Free Water Distribution and Furniture Handover Program aimed at supporting local humanitarian initiatives. As part of the program, the club provided financial assistance to the Ganesh Temple Women’s Group in Anamnagar to sustain its free drinking water distribution for one year.
The women’s group has long been engaged in distributing free water to passersby at the temple premises through internally raised funds. With this support, the initiative is expected to continue more effectively and reach more people in need. During the handover, Club President Prem Oli highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration in sustaining social service efforts and commended the group’s dedication.
The program was attended by key club members, including Past President Indira Parajuli, President-Elect Sujita Adhikari, and Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, along with other officials and participants who appreciated the group’s contribution to the community.
In the same week, the club extended its support to another cause by handing over essential furniture for the regular blood donation program at Radha Krishna Temple. The handover was conducted in the presence of club leaders and local representatives, who emphasized that such initiatives strengthen life-saving campaigns and promote a sense of shared social responsibility within the community.
