The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Unnati Organization,
successfully carried out a dustbin distribution program at Kankali Secondary School in Ward No.
13, Old Naikap, Chandragiri Municipality. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and
support the school’s ongoing efforts to improve its learning environment.
President Rtn. Prem Oli, serving as the chief guest, officially handed over the dustbins to the
school’s principal, Mr. Bishnu Paneru. The program was further dignified by the presence of
Past Presidents Rtn. Lilanath Sharma and Rtn. Indira Parajuli, Treasurer Rtn. Manoj Shrestha,
and Rotary Foundation Director Rtn. Sumit Kunwar.
During his address, President Wali highlighted that the project aligns closely with Rotary’s key
focus areas—environment, education, and health. He also emphasized the club’s continued
commitment to supporting public schools through various initiatives, including health education,
drinking water facilities, and toilet construction.
Principal Paneru expressed sincere gratitude to RC Dillibazar, Unnati Organization, and all
attending Rotarians for their support. He welcomed the initiative and encouraged further
collaboration for future programs benefiting the school.
The event was coordinated by School Management Committee member and Rotarian Mr.
